David learned to fly in Los Angeles in 1982. After qualifying, he worked as an instructor and commercial pilot in the United States before returning to the UK in 1987.
David has worked extensively in the film industry. His credits include the Bond films 'The World is Not Enough' and 'Tomorrow Never Dies', as well as 'Oklahoma' and 'Jason and the Argonauts'. He has been involved also in commercials for Barclaycard, P&O, Sainsbury and BMW. | For the most part, however, David flies top business people, high net worth individuals, celebrities and people simply enjoying a flight of a lifetime - all of whom appreciate his good sense, good humour and all-round flying capability.
With more than 8,000 flying hours to his credit, David has Instructor Rating, Examiner Rating and Instrument Rating. None of these ratings are awarded lightly by the Civil Aviation Authority and so they indicate a pilot at the top of his profession.
